Parents, Guardians and Community Members

Even though YoungLives is especially for pregnant and parenting teens, parents and other adults in the community are important to YoungLives. Adults can support YoungLives in a variety of ways — by becoming a volunteer leader or committee member, by attending a YoungLives fund-raising event or by simply telling others in the community about YoungLives and its commitment to kids.

Keeping Kids Safe

An important part of our committment to kids is how we keep kids safe. Our staff and volunteer leaders know they are responsible for modeling lives of hope and integrity.Young Life's Human Resources department has developed missionwide policies and procedures to ensure that kids and babies are protected when they are with Young Life staff and/or leaders as well as when kids are part of Young Life sponsored activities.

Community Connections

The staff and volunteers of YoungLives understand that to make a real impact on the lives of teenage mothers and pregnant teens they need to partner with other community organizations and services to offer the girls the assistance they need.
We seek to work alongside Pregnancy Centers, schools, hospitals, etc. Please contact us if you know how we can support other local services for teen mothers or ways that they could support YoungLives.
